One Life to Live star Kristen Alderson will be setting up shop on General Hospital for the long haul. Alderson announced on Twitter that she has signed a long-term contract with ABC's last-remaining soap. She'll first air in February.

One Life to Live favorite Florencia Lozano is headed to General Hospital, according to a report. Lozano will portray her OLTL character, Téa Delgado. Lozano first appeared as Téa in 1997.

The Bold and the Beautiful will introduce its first gay couple later this spring. Soap vet Crystal Chappell has been hired to play Danielle, one of Caroline Spencer's two moms. Chappell has appeared on Days of our Lives, Guiding Light, and One Life to Live.

Emmy winner Heather Tom will welcome her first child later this year. Tom and husband James Anchor married last year. Tom has also appeared on The Young and the Restless and One Life to Live.

The news, first reported by a popular soap columnist, seems to indicate that DePaiva's stint could last more than just a few days. DePaiva made her debut as Blair on OLTL in 1993.

Last year, B&B's Scott Clifton picked up a long-overdue Emmy. In 2012, the actor has an even more important addition to his life: a new wife. Clifton and Nicole Lampson married earlier this month and then took off for Paris. Clifton has also appeared on One Life to Live and General Hospital.
